Pegs land on the exact 25.4mm (1″) grid automatically — ⌀6.0mm for standard ⌀6.35mm holes. Every top-row peg gets a locking clip that hooks behind the board.
About this tool
A holder wizard for classic 1-inch pegboard: an X-by-Y grid of rounded cups fused to a back plate, with mounting pegs placed automatically on the exact 25.4mm hole grid. The pegs print at ⌀6.0mm for the standard ⌀6.35mm (1/4") holes — a 0.175mm running fit per side that slides in without slop — and every top-row peg carries a bent locking clip that hooks behind the board so the holder can't bounce off when you grab a tool.
Cup width, depth and height are the three numbers that matter: measure the thing you're storing and add 2–3mm of air. Taper narrows the bottom (0.8 cradles screwdriver handles), Closed bottom turns a sleeve into a bin for loose screws, Front slot lets a cable or tool blade slip in from the side, and Tilt leans the cups away from the wall so pencils settle toward the board instead of sliding out — our tilt keeps the back plate flat on the board (the original PEGSTR generator admitted its angled holders were broken; we rebuilt that math).
Print tip: it prints standing exactly as it hangs — no supports; the ⌀6 pegs are short horizontal cylinders that bridge fine at 0.2mm layers. The default 1.85mm wall is four 0.45mm perimeters; set 3+ walls or 25% infill and PETG if it lives near a heat gun. Inspired by Marius Gheorghescu's PEGSTR wizard — rebuilt from scratch for BuilderPlate.
