Magnet and screw holes need the Skirted / weighted base — the thin plate is open through the bottom, so there's no solid floor for a pocket. Switch to Skirted in step 2 to add mounting holes.
About this tool
The baseplate is the floor of a Gridfinity system: a grid of 42mm sockets that bins drop into and grip. Measure your drawer, divide by 42, and print as many cells as fit — multiple plates sit side by side to fill any space.
Each socket is cut with the published Gridfinity clearance profile (0.1mm per side against the bin foot), so bins from this tool — or anyone else's — click in correctly. The plate is the spec 5mm thin style: open through the bottom, fast to print, light on filament.
Print tip: prints flat with no supports in well under an hour for most sizes. PLA is fine — baseplates see no stress.
